I believe in math. So before I made the leap from KW it was important for me to really do my due diligence. Well, the math says revenue share is better than profit share (and infinitely better than whatever brokerages that offer no share try to sell you). I am no longer beholden to any particular office's profitability and what they decide to spend their money on before splitting it with agents. Revenue share means I get paid on every single deal the agents in my organization do. Referral fees that will pay me long after I'm done slinging houses. The math also says ownership is a good thing. Not only does it foster partnership across the entire company, but with stock gifts and the agent ownership plan it made the move, as Grant Cardone says, a no brainer - I love what I do but I wouldn’t do it for free and if I can get paid multiple times, even after I retire, for the same work I was already doing, it would be financially irresponsible for me to turn it down. The only regret I have is I waited so long to make the move.
